What you can see here
PostRewind looks up a Reddit user's posts and comments or the history of a subreddit. Each tab starts with the newest entries. A row gives you the date, subreddit, title or comment text, a status label, and an Open on Reddit link. Expand an entry to read its saved text while keeping your place in the list.
The Reddit archive includes entries marked as removed or deleted alongside live ones. Posts and comments have separate tabs, so you can follow an account's submissions and its replies. Each comment sits under its thread title or subreddit, so you can place the reply. Use Load older to continue, or download the loaded list as CSV for your own reading and notes.
How to see deleted Reddit posts
Enter u/ followed by the username and select Pull it up. Open Posts to see the account's submissions, then turn on Only removed or deleted to focus on the marked entries. Select a title to expand its text. The date and subreddit help you place the post in its original context, while Open on Reddit takes you to the thread.
For a community, enter r/ followed by its name. The same controls work for subreddit history. You can also paste a post link to look up that thread and its saved comments. Switch to Comments when you want to follow replies, and use Load older to continue browsing. To find deleted Reddit posts by user, keep the account query and look through both tabs. The filter applies to the list you are browsing, and exporting gives you the loaded entries in a single file.
Removed vs deleted
The labels describe the action recorded for an entry. Removed by mods identifies a moderation removal, including an automated moderation action. Deleted by user identifies an author's deletion. Removed by Reddit identifies a platform removal. Live marks an entry recorded as public. These labels give you more context than the short placeholders you may see in a thread.
Read the saved body alongside its label. A post's title, creation date, and subreddit remain useful for following the discussion, and comments carry their parent thread context. Turn the removed-or-deleted filter on to collect the marked entries, or turn it off to read them alongside the rest of a user's activity. The downloaded file preserves the labels shown in your list.
Tips to find more
Start with a username, then look up a subreddit the account posted in. A community query gives you another route into a discussion you remember. Check Posts and Comments separately: a short reply may contain the phrase you remember even when the thread's title uses different words. Username capitalization does not change your query.
Keep a direct post link when you have one. Its post ID takes you to the thread's record. For broader Reddit history, use Load older to step back through earlier activity. Read the parent post title above a comment and follow Open on Reddit when you want to place that reply within the conversation.
Download the list
Download CSV saves the entries you have loaded in the current tab. The file includes an entry ID, creation time, author, subreddit, title or parent title, saved body, status, and Reddit URL. Load older first to include more rows. A spreadsheet lets you sort those dates, compare communities, and keep references beside your notes. Post and comment exports use the same readable field names.
Use it with Reddit's own search
Reddit's search can find current threads with author:username or subreddit:community. Add a phrase from the discussion to narrow it down. Use PostRewind's Reddit username search to browse the account's saved activity and its removed or deleted entries. A post link connects the two views. Reddit comment search here starts with a user or community, then gives you dated replies and their thread titles to read together.
